Introduction to the Nitrogen & Phosphorous Cycles

This week in earth systems, you will be introduced to several important biogeochemical cycles, including the nitrogen and phosphorous cycles. Biogeochemical cycles circulate important elements (like nitrogen and phosphorus) through earth's spheres.  In this week, you will also learn how human alterations to the nitrogen and phosphorous cycle influence the environment and can contribute to pollution.
