Welcome to week 7 of Earth systems! Week 7 will actually be open for 3 weeks (2 weeks + 1 week grace period), in order to accommodate CRTs. That means you should have plenty of time to complete the assignment and the quiz in this week, and hopefully a lot of you will take advantage of the extra credit assignment located in this week of the course!

This week of the course focuses on weather and climate. What makes them alike? How are they different phenomenons? You will learn about several types of severe weather, as well as the evidence scientists use to support the theory of climate change. The Severe Weather & Climate Change assignments, as well as the Weather & Climate quiz are all due on Monday, May 21 but accepted for credit until Tuesday, May 29.
