    Web Essentials Q1

    This course is designed to provide students with the fundamentals of Web site creation practices by developing basic skills in XHTML and CSS. Through various lessons, activities, and projects students will be able to: generally describe the workings of the Internet and the WWW, understand XHTML elements and basic tags, understand CSS rules and declarations, create a basic Web site with XHTML and CSS, incorporate multimedia objects into an XHTML document, and learn about server-side web languages. While becoming familiar with Web page creation, students may start to see a future in a career of Web development.
